Short film idea 5
A man decides to leave home for a better future. Taking refuge at a mysterious hotel that is filled with others traveling to the New World. Met with opposition as he is made to leave. Forced to hide in the hotel, he meets others like him that were made to turn away. Befriending a young girl who was abandoned by her parents, left in the hotel. The girl still dreams of going to the New World. The man returns one day with food to find the girl still, he takes her body to a place of rest. The man is alone again, unable to travel to the New World and haunted by the image of the girl.
This would require access to a hotel room.
ReplyDeleteI have given this idea some thought and have some options on how to make it work:
ReplyDelete- use shadow puppets, I believe it would fit to the mood and atmosphere I want to create
- use exterior shots of the college and the interior can be in an old building which i have access to.
