Short Film Idea 1 Develpoment

What I had in mind with this idea is how a modern society chooses to ignore certain aspects of life. Choosing to ignore something is common. What if you were being forced to ignore things that you come across in everyday life?
This is where I came across the idea of the three mystic monkeys, which represent those who deal with impropriety by turning a blind eye.
The narrative follows the day for a teenage girl who encounters a pickpocket, a shooter and upon returning home, stays silent and uncommunicative to her mother.
